Fabrication Supervisor

Heckmondwike, West Yorkshire

£20ph Increasing to £21.50ph (£40,560 to £43,602) + 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays + Company Pension + Healthplan

Monday to Thursday 06:00 to 15:00, Friday 06:00 to 11:00

Fabrication Supervisor required for an industry leading engineering company. This is a great opportunity to join a company who work with many of the world’s leading blue-chip companies across lots of sectors.

This role would suit an experienced fabricator and will hold a related engineering qualification. You will either have supervisory experience or looking to step into a formal supervisory role.

The successful Fabrication Supervisor will be responsible for leading and overseeing daily operations, ensuring safe working practices, high quality and on time delivery of products.

You will work alongside two other supervisors overseeing a total team of around 30 people. This is a factory-based role, and you can expect to be hands on when required.


The Fabrication Supervisor Role:

· Accountable for H&S on shop floor
· Ensure maintenance of quality standards – documenting inspections and tests, and driving root cause analysis of any issues
· Work with Production Manager to set daily targets and ensure daily targets for deliveries are achieves
· Complete and validate time sheets
· Provide training, coaching and mentoring to the team
· Driving continuous improvement

The Fabrication Supervisor Candidate:

· Fabrication background
· Experience supervisor or looking to progress into a supervisory role
· Hold an engineering qualification
