Job Description:

HGV Class 1 Driver

Rochester / Kent

£17.90 Per Hour + Overtime (£22.37ph – OTE Approx. £54,680) + 28 Days Holiday Including Bank Holidays + Increasing Holidays with Service + EAP + Private GP Service + Overnight Allowance

Contracted 40 Hours per Week – Averaging 55 Hours with Overtime

5 days on, 1 day off, 5 days on, 2 days off

HGV Class 1 Driver required for a well-established business who can provide stability and opportunity to develop new skills. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for a role where approximately 50% of the time you will be working in the Kent area.

This role would suit an experienced HGV Class 1 driver with a current Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.

Joining a growing team, the successful candidate will be responsible for transporting fresh goods from across Kent to the company’s site in Rochester. You will also transport packed goods to supermarket depots across the UK, with the furthest location based in Scotland.

HGV Class 1 Driver Role:

· Operating HGV Class 1 vehicles
· Complying with driving laws and transport regulations
· Vehicle checks
· Approximately 1 night away per week
· Operating forklifts and pump trucks (training provided)
· 5 days on, 1 day off, 5 days on, 2 days off

HGV Class 1 Driver Candidate:

· Experienced HGV Class 1 Driver
· Current Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
