Mechanical Fitter and Tester (Assembly)

Gloucester

9/10 Day Working Per Fortnight

Week 1 - Monday to Friday 07:15 to 16:00 OR 07:45 to 16:30 (Finish 15 Minutes Earlier on a Friday)

Week 2 – Monday to Thursday

Mechanical Fitter and Tester required to join an industry leading supplier of manufacturing machinery with a reputation of global excellence. This is a great opportunity to join a well-established company during an exciting period of growth.

This role would suit candidates with hands on experience working within a manufacturing environment. You will need experience working with and understanding technical drawings, geometric tolerancing and technical specifications.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all moulds, pumps and tooling are built and tested to company and customer standards and requirements.

The Mechanical Fitter and Tester Role:

· Fitting and assembly of tooling, moulds and pumps

· Working to engineering drawings

· Using hands tools, pillar drills, deburring tools, grinding wheels etc.

· Carry out mechanical and electrical testing on moulds and pumps and create reports

· Maintain test rig

· Contribution to continuous improvements to manufacturing processes

The Mechanical Fitter and Tester Candidate:

· Experience within manufacturing environment

· Able to read engineering drawings
