Shropshire – Hybrid Working

Senior Electrical Design Engineer required for an industry leading engineering consultancy working on exciting projects. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a company with long standing projects in place, offering security and ongoing development opportunities.

This role would suit an experienced electrical engineer with experience delivering design projects. Candidates with experience working in the water treatment industry will be suited as are candidates with experience working within automotive, rail, instrumentation or similar.

The successful Senior Electrical Design Engineer will be responsible for working on projects predominantly within the water treatment industry and will be involved in all stages of the project lifecycle, from concept to commission.

You will be primarily based from home, travelling to the company office once or twice a week and will occasionally visit customer sites.

The Senior Electrical Design Engineer Role:

· Working on electrical designs for water treatment equipment

· Working on projects from scratch and upgrades / modifications

· Working with motor control centres, LV distribution, cabling, instrumentation etc

· Support integration of controls – PLC and SCADA

· Produce and review technical specifications

· Support the development of junior engineers

· Development opportunities – chartership, progression etc.

The Senior Electrical Design Engineer Candidate:

· Experience in electrical design

· Hold an engineering degree (or equivalent)

· Industrial experience – water treatment, rail, automotive or similar
