Electrical Design Engineer

Heckmondwike, West Yorkshire

Up to £55,000 DOE + 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays + Company Pension + Healthplan

Monday to Thursday 08.30 to 17:00, Friday 08.30 to 14.00

Electrical Design Engineer required for an industry leading engineering company. This is a great opportunity to join a company who work with many of the world’s leading blue-chip companies across lots of sectors including power generation and oil & gas.

This role would suit an experienced Electrical Design Engineer with knowledge of LW power distribution, motor control etc. This role would suit candidates with experience with a background designing for industrial, power generation, marine, oil and gas equipment, or similar.

The successful Electrical Design Engineer will be responsible for the design, documentation and technical support of electrical systems.

Electrical Design Engineer Role:

· Using AutoCAD to produce electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, panel layouts etc.

· LV and auxiliary electrical design

· General arrangement and internal layout drawings

· Side and specify cables

· Preparation of BOMs

· Ensure designs comply with relevant standards

Electrical Design Engineer Candidate:

· Experienced electrical design engineer

· Experience in industrial, power generation, marine or oil and gas equipment

· Knowledge of LV power distribution

· Understanding of multi-voltage package electrical systems

· Experience with AutoCAD (or similar)
