Junior Maintenance Engineer

Castleford

£35,000 to £40,000 DOE + Overtime (1.5x) + 15.5 Days Holiday (Increases up to 17.5 Days) + Pension + PPE/Workwear + Ongoing Training and Specialised Safety Certificates

4 on 4 off – 6am to 6pm

Junior Maintenance Engineer required for an industry specialist within manufacturing. This is a great opportunity to join a stable company who can offer job security and reliability.

The role would suit a mechanically biased engineer with an understanding of valves, pumps, motors, sprockets and chains.

Joining a small team, the successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out planned maintenance and reactive maintenance when required on production equipment that operate 24/7. This will include working on bitumen blending tanks, high-speed lamination lines, and thermal oil systems.

Junior Maintenance Engineer Role:

· Reactive maintenance on breakdowns

· PPMs on conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, rollers etc.

· Working on hydraulic and pneumatic systems

· MIG welding (experience not essential)

· 4 on 4 off shift pattern

· Involvement in project works

· Support shift work when required to cover holidays
