HGV & Plant Fitter

£50,000 - £55,000

Monday to Friday 4am – 1pm (Nights)

HGV & Plant Fitter required for a leading sustainable waste management company.

To apply for the role, you need to be a qualified engineer and have experience repairing hydraulics. Experience in welding and fabricating is also required. Any electrical knowledge is advantageous.

Your role will be to inspect and repair a diverse fleet of HGV’s and a variety of heavy plant machinery including servicing 360 excavators, loading shovels, and forklifts.

The HGV & Plant Fitter Role in Brief:
• Inspect and repair HGV’s and plant equipment
• Preventative maintenance, service and routine inspections
• mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic repairs
• Maintain all records
• Adhere to all H&S legislation

The HGV & Plant Fitter Required:
• Qualified HGV Engineer/Technician in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent
• Knowledge of DVSA inspection standards and Operator Compliance requirements
• Experience servicing and repairing heavy mobile plant machinery and HGVs
